How ServAssure Came to Be

In the 1990s, a group of independent dealers felt that the best way to compete with giant heating and cooling retailers and "big box" stores was to unite as an independent alliance of dealers. The concept was to remain an independent dealer yet be part of a more powerful group. After meeting for approximately a year and hammering out such things as dealer standards, agreements, name, logo etc. - as well as conducting extensive consumer focus groups - the ServAssure Dealer Alliance was born in 1998.
